Star Wars.

I'm feeling bored, so I'm going to talk about Star Wars.
Recently, I have been realizing how much I do not like the First, Second, and Third, Star Wars movies. I have had multiple debates about this with some of my friends, and I have become very firm in my belief that the series was better, before episodes One through four were made.
I know that many people would disagree... But this is just my opinion. Please respond with your arguments: For, or against.

I agree. :)

Fear of offending people, especially when you are right, is debilitating. Do practice your tact so that you can get across to the most people before they find what you say offensive. *grin*

Welcome!

Oh, and obStarWars:

"Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station."

I agree with you. The ones made in the 70s were so much better than the new set!

Absolutely spot on.

I must be feeling British today.

Now the question that my son Chris is absorbed with lately (and driving me batty over), is who would win in a baseball game, Star Wars vs. Star Trek (you can combine all episodes).

Too many of my own siblings like episodes I-III too much. I am in absolute agreement with you. For one thing, there's a redemptive theme in the original trilogy which is lacking in the prequels.
